Grim Brim leftovers from C2E2 Memorial Day Sale

For anyone that wasn't able to make it out to C2E2 a couple weeks ago, good news! We still have some of these little guys available and will be releasing them on my big cartel store on Memorial Day @ 9pm CST they will be $20 +s&h and for ease of sale for you guys will be sold blind pick. Beware of THE GRIM BRIM!

 My friend Marty of The GodBeast Customs Just sent me some pics of the first casts from the mold for The "Grim Brim" figure me and my friend Gabe have been collaborating with him on.

"Grim Brim" is a hillbilly munchin' mutant maniac thought up by Gabe. Anyone who knows me knows my love of hillbilly aesthetic, knows it was mandated that I start collaborating and sculpting this crazy little figure as soon as I could. I'm pretty pumped with how the sculpt came out and I'm super pumped with how the casts Marty is pumping out are looking.

If you're as excited as me about these awesome little dudes then you are in luck! We will be releasing a small batch at this year's C2E2 at the Nerd City booth. More details will be popping up as the event draws closer. Can't wait to get these in everyone's hands!

Happy Holiday Outhouses!

I just finished up a small group of custom Outhouses just in time for the holidays. The Happy Holiday Outhouses will be limited to ten figures and will be bagged with a special header card. One of the coolest and tastiest burger joints in Des Moines, Zombie Burger,  has teamed up with my buddies over at Paste Apparel for a new contest. After a lot of scrapped Ideas I came up with a couple of designs I was pretty happy with. WOOLY'S T-shirt design

Even though my design for Paste Apparel's WOOLY's competition didn't get the win, It's still a design I'm pretty proud of it and had a balst doing it. who knows maybe if any of you guys checking this out sent some messages their way they might even get the kick in the butt they needed to go ahead and make these anyway, heh.

Awesomeness On The Near Horizon!

So I had a ton of awesome update news on some projects that I either have a part of or have commissioned with other artists today and thought I would update everyone on whats been going on

First, if any of you remember my initial POST about the Phantom Shithouse Shirts. Well, thanks to all of you that supported the project they met their goal and got produced. the Paste Apparel guys finished up the first set of orders today and if you bought one, you should be hearing from them soon. I'm Super pumped about how these turned out and can't wait to rock mine when I get them tomorrow, hopefully. The Preorder will still be up for a while if you missed out initially as well.

The second bit of OMFG related news I found today is that the awesome GITD sets are on their way. George Gaspar of October Toys said they should be on their way and be ready to ship out in July. After and initial kickstarter order is fulfilled they should be up for sale at the october toys site along with hopefully a restock of the flesh colorway.

The last bit of news to share is my friend Ralph Niese has been working on a commissioned Egg Qee for me for a while now and he finally posted up finished pictures of it today. Ralph does an awesome job incorporating his awesome illustrative abilities into all his sculpting and custom work which really makes for a fresh and fun style that looks like it popped right off a comic book page. Hopefully I will have this baby in my hands soon so I can share my own pictures and a more in depth review with you all soon. Can't wait!

OMFG in PORK Magazine!

 So today I was alerted to the fact that the new issue of the awesome rock n' roll and art magazine PORK had a little piece about the Outlandish Mini Figure Guys it it. Just thought it was pretty cool to see that a cool publication like this was digging it and throwing my design out as their favorite. Thanks for the support, PORK. everyone should figure out where they can get a hold of this awesome FREE zine and support them as well. I know you can find it at ZZZ Records in Des Moines if your interested in finding a copy

The final 6 Artist painted Phantom Shithouse figures will be released this Friday, the 20th at 8pm cst. they will be $20 plus $3.50 for first class usps shipping with confirmation number. C2E2 = Awesome time

Thanks to the guys from Nerd City and my friend The GodBeast, Marty Hansen I had the opportunity to go up to The Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo this past weekend. I was able to meet a lot of guys from the october toys forums and see some cool stuff.

A few highlights from the weekend were the after party at Reggies compliments of Nerd City and the reveal of the series of Battle Beast Minimates from Diamond select. As well as some mamoth sandwich action at Lucky's

I got to meet a lot of cool guys and had a lot of good times with said people. Looking farward to hopefully making the trip again next year, it was a blast

the Newest OMFG Game: Shitstacker!

I've just found a fun new game to play if you have multiple sets of OMFG figures or specifically Phantom Shithouses. Stack em' as high as you can! So far my record is 6 figure but I'm sure if you have the stock and patience you get more. Has anyone else figured out some other fun things you can do with the figures?

El Bait Shop Shirt Design

El Bait Shop is pretty much the best bar ever and the one that I frequent the most in town. They have a fun atmosphere and one of the best beer selections I have seen anywhere so when they announced that they would be having a contest for a new t-shirt design to sell at the bar I was pretty pumped.

They still haven't announce the winner of the contest, but I'm hoping they dig my homage to their great selection of brews and what my happy belly tends to look like(sans glassware) when I leave after a good night with friends there and don't have to worry bout driving home ;). thanks for taking a gander and keep your fingers crossed that we see this hanging above the bar soon

Phantom Shithouse, Hand Painted Series is Ready to Rock Next Weekend

Next weekend I will be going to Chicago for the Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo. Along with me I will be bringing a special limited release of 20 hand-painted Phantom Shithouse customs with me. You can see all of the over at my flickr

Each set will include 1 hand-painted Phantom Shithouse figures, 1 hand-painted mini army man or hillbilly/cowboy to fight against the Merde menace, a Phantom Shithouse sticker, and a 1" Phantom Shithouse Button all bagged and carded. There will be 20 sets available for $20 at the Nerd City booth #842 and if there are any leftovers, they will go on my bigcartel account after the convention.

They were a lot of work but they look awesome and I'm really excited to have them done and ready to get out to the fans of the figure. Hope to see you in Chicago

Village Bean T-shirt contest - I need your help!

I've been working on some T-shirt design contests with local Des Moines t-shirt company, Paste. The most recent design is for a local coffee shop "The Village Bean" Go check the contest out on their Facebook page and please vote for my design if you dig it. hopefully I can get this produced!

more hillbilly customs, duh

I've been staring at these blank vinyls for far to long so tonight when I had a bit of free time I knew what I had to do.The Mimobot on the left is my first foray into using that figure. pretty fun little dudes. in the middle is just a little dude i made from scratch and on the left is a Michaels Halloween Frankenstein working on becoming a greaser. hopefully get some paint started on these guys tomorrow and finished up by the end of the week.

Finally getting some time to get going on some artwork again lately. Here's a piece I finished up today based of the "One Percenter" Motorcycle gangs such as Hells Angels.

Phantom Shithouse APs, coming this Friday!

The Phantom Shithouse Aps are set to release this Friday, February 10th in a Joint North American and European release from Myself and the sculptor of the figure, Ralph Niese.

The N. American release will be at 7:00pm CST and will cost $6 each with a flat shipping fee of $3.50 and a limit of 3 figures.
this will include and exclusive button, sticker and header designed by me.
